About the role#

Larian Studios is seeking a 3D Animation Intern to join our Gameplay Animation team. You will contribute to the development of our upcoming projects by crafting high-quality, believable in-game animations for a variety of assets, ranging from large creatures to small objects.

What you'll do#

• Create charming and believable in-game animations for diverse assets.
• Maintain the established animation style of the production title.
• Manage your own animations through the full lifecycle, including polish and bug fixing.
• Communicate project obstacles and resource needs clearly to your supervisor.
• Meet established deadlines while working within the development team.

What you'll need#

• A strong passion for animation and an active interest in video games, particularly role-playing games.
• A solid grasp of the fundamentals of animation principles.
• A basic understanding of game development processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a studio environment.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Currently completing or recently graduated from a relevant program of study (e.g., Computer Science, Graphic Design, Art, or Media Studies).
• Must already possess the legal authorization and documentation required to work in Canada.
