About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills within the industrial machinery manufacturing industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to build professional relationships and develop an understanding of the manufacturing process. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a college or university degree program related to drafting or engineering. The position requires 10 to 15 percent travel.
What you'll do#
- Assist in product or system design under the direction of an engineer.
- Analyze product specifications and performance requirements to identify design improvements.
- Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
- Perform engineering subtasks of low complexity for various projects.
- Develop equipment manuals and spare parts lists.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent safety hazards.
- Support special projects and engineering tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

- Current enrollment in a college or university drafting or engineering degree program.
