About the role#
Klaimee is a Y Combinator company building liability coverage for AI agent failures. As our first dedicated marketing hire, you will work directly with the founders to own our marketing efforts from end to end. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing role where you treat marketing as a series of experiments. You will run tests, double down on what works, and stop what does not.
What you'll do#
- Produce content including articles, blog posts, and LinkedIn updates.
- Manage SEO and generative engine optimization to ensure we appear in search results and AI citations.
- Execute creative marketing experiments such as dinners, events, and billboards.
- Maintain consistent social media activity and newsletters.
- Track marketing performance and report metrics and outcomes to the founders.
What you'll need#
- Ability to write well and quickly.
- A generalist mindset with a willingness to handle all tasks.
- Creativity to develop unconventional ideas paired with the discipline to ship unglamorous work.
- Data-curiosity and the ability to own outcomes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment.
- Early career status with a hunger to grow.
- Preferred: Prior startup or founding-team experience.
- Preferred: Experience with SEO tools, content workflows, or running paid and organic experiments.
- Preferred: A portfolio of past projects, writing, or launches.
- Academic background in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This role is based in San Francisco, California, with remote options available within the United States.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
- Please include a 2-3 minute video with your application walking us through one thing you built or launched from scratch where you had no playbook. Explain what it was, why you made it, how you used AI or automation to move faster, and one part you deliberately did not automate.
