About the role#
The Precision Ag Specialist Intern supports the CENTROL team by servicing and promoting precision agriculture technologies. You will work directly with area producers to build relationships and support agronomy sales. This role involves a mix of field service, data management, and customer outreach.
What you'll do#
- Install equipment on planters, tractors, combines, and sprayers.
- Perform field service calls and conduct equipment inspections.
- Manage precision agriculture inventory, including parts deliveries and inventory counts.
- Collect and scrub data from planting, application, and yield activities.
- Support marketing efforts and field events to generate sales leads.
- Assist with maintaining facilities and keeping work areas clean.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering program.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to assist with equipment installations on heavy machinery.
- Strong interest in agronomy and precision agriculture technology.
- Capability to maintain a neat and orderly work area.
- Commitment to following all company safety policies.
