About the role#
This internship provides exposure to diverse Rooms operations at One&Only Moonlight Basin. You will rotate through Connectivity (Concierge), Front Office, Host (Guest Services), and Housekeeping areas. This role offers a well-rounded perspective of luxury operations while you contribute to the daily guest experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage guest experiences from pre-arrival planning through departure.
- Assist with reservations for Food & Beverage, Recreation, and Wellness.
- Support arrival and departure processes, including check-in and check-out.
- Review guest profiles and preferences to help deliver personalized stays.
- Escort guests throughout the resort and provide property orientations.
- Coordinate logistics such as guest transportation and parking.
- Collaborate with concierge, host, and housekeeping teams to track guest needs.
- Participate in guest room and public area inspections to maintain standards.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate special room setups or amenity deliveries.
- Respond to guest inquiries and assist with service recovery efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current student or a recent graduate (within 2 years) of a university hospitality program.
- Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month (90-day) internship.
- Prior working experience in hospitality is strongly preferred.
- A professional, polished, and positive guest-focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
