About the role#
Keros Therapeutics is hiring a Research Associate Co-op to join the In Vitro Pharmacology team for a 6-month position. You will work alongside experienced scientists on drug discovery projects focused on TGF-beta signaling pathways. This role is based in Lexington, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and culture various cell lines.
- Develop and optimize cellular assays.
- Run reporter assays to measure cellular signaling events.
- Perform gene expression and protein detection analysis.
- Keep accurate and detailed laboratory records.
- Collaborate with team members on research projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Previous training in cell and molecular biology laboratory skills.
- Experience with cell culture techniques.
- A strong academic background in biology and chemistry.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position in Lexington, Massachusetts.
- The role is full-time and paid with a base pay range of $28 to $32 per hour.
- This is a rolling term position.
