Business Analyst Intern

About the role#

Kensington is seeking a Business Analyst Intern to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve business performance. You will partner with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear specifications and ensure successful project delivery.

What you'll do#

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
• Create persuasive PowerPoint presentations and visuals, such as charts and process flows, to convey findings.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development or QA teams.
• Maintain and prioritize product backlog items in collaboration with product owners.
• Produce documentation including process flows, decision matrices, and status reports.

What you'll need#

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Ability to prioritize competing requests and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in slide crafting, including narrative flow, concise messaging, and data visualization.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing principles.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Currently pursuing or completed studies in Business Administration, Communications, Data Science, or Computer Science.
