About the role#
KEB America, Inc. is hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our Engineering Department. This role allows students to gain practical experience and develop technical skills by assisting our Mechanical Engineering Team with routine tasks.
What you'll do#
- Build prototype assemblies.
- Perform validation tests according to established procedures.
- Collect data and gather information for project documentation.
- Create test reports based on findings.
- Perform simple computations and technical analyses.
- Prepare drawings, schematics, and visual aids.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a B.S.M.E. program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Understanding of both Imperial and Metric measurement systems.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety rules.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Solidworks, Cideon, SAP, and Redmine.
- Knowledge of test and measurement equipment.

- Compensation: $22-26 per hour.
