About the role#
KBF Advisory is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Lake Oswego office. You will work alongside our tax team to support client engagements and gain practical experience in public accounting.
What you'll do#
- Perform tax compliance, advising, and planning tasks.
- Support work for multistate and multinational enterprises, including partnerships and corporations.
- Manage projects to ensure work products meet client expectations and deadlines.
- Communicate project status, timelines, and budgets to partners and team members.
- Build skills in managing client relationships.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting bachelor or master degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- CPA eligibility track and a strong ambition to become a CPA.
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, from January through April 2027.
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon.
- Modality: On-site. You must be able to work from the Lake Oswego office a minimum of 2 days per week.
- Schedule: Full-time, January through April 2027.
