About the role#
This is a part-time internship position for a student interested in embedded operating systems. You will work on-site in Cary, North Carolina, during the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain embedded OS components.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to support system integration.
- Debug and resolve technical issues within embedded systems.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain project documentation.
- Test and validate new software features.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience working with embedded systems and operating systems.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
