    About the role#

    This is a part-time software engineering internship focused on embedded operating systems for Summer 2026. You will work on-site at the Cary, North Carolina facility.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and maintain embedded OS components.
    • Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure successful system integration.
    • Debug and resolve technical issues within embedded systems.
    • Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
    • Test and validate new software features.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Experience working with embedded systems and operating systems.
    • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
    • Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
