About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work with our engineering and assembly departments. You will focus on developing automated solutions to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. This is a full-time, on-site position based in El Cajon, California, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of RF design, including impedance matching and industry standards.
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using the Autodesk suite.
- Gain hands-on experience with the EPSON robotics platform, including integration with computer vision.
- Develop and optimize robotic routines for assembly, testing, and manufacturing.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and integration of automation and vision systems.
- Analyze manufacturing workflows to recommend improvements for throughput and efficiency.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Create and maintain technical reports, work instructions, and training materials.
- Present your project outcomes and process improvements at the end of the term.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.

- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree program.
