About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the aerospace industry. You will work alongside experienced engineers and industry experts to gain insight into engineering processes, product development, and problem-solving. The role is a full-time, 12-week position running from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform research, design, analysis, testing, and documentation for products including composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.
- Contribute to the innovation of fluid motion control and environmental control system solutions for aerospace applications.
- Engage with real-world projects and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with a preference for Junior or Senior students.
- Proficiency in CAD design and Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Catia v5/v6, MATLAB/Simulink, or FEA software such as ANSYS or NASTRAN.
- Practical background in design and testing.
- US Citizenship or permanent resident status is required due to export regulations.
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.

- This position is based on-site in Valencia, California.
- The role is full-time at 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
