About the role#
This is a part-time, paid work-study position at the wellness center. You will act as the first point of contact for students and community members visiting the facility. The role involves managing daily administrative tasks and ensuring the center remains a safe and organized environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and answer incoming phone calls.
- Open and close the wellness center facility.
- Process financial transactions and handle membership inquiries.
- Supervise the facility to ensure users follow safety policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area.
- Use scheduling and communication software to manage daily records.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a receptionist or front desk role is preferred.
- Basic skills in cash handling and financial record keeping.
- Proficiency with computer software for scheduling and communication.
- Ability to work independently when opening or closing the center.
