About the role#
This is a paid, part-time work study position supporting the athletic department at Iowa Valley Community College District. You will help maintain the baseball and softball fields throughout the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.
What you'll do#
- Drag the infield and warning track.
- Paint lines on the field.
- Set up equipment and prepare the playing surface for games and events.
- Keep facilities clean and fix maintenance issues as they arise.
- Use tools such as rakes, shovels, and paint equipment.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of baseball and softball field maintenance.
- The ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good people skills and a helpful attitude.

- Location: Marshalltown, Iowa.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
- Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
