About the role#
As an intern within the regional network team, you will learn the fundamentals of the account manager role. You will support the team across the entire financing lifecycle, from initial business development and prospecting to the final disbursement of funds. This role involves working closely with account managers, analysts, and technicians to assist with financial analysis, documentation, and client follow-ups.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of financing files for presentation to internal committees.
- Support the analysis of financing requests and track files through to the disbursement stage.
- Collaborate on business development activities and conduct client follow-ups.
- Contribute to credit risk assessments using internal scoring tools.
- Input financial statements into the internal software system.
- Participate in discussions regarding credit authorization levels.
- Stay informed on internal policies, procedures, and regulatory trends that impact financing.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status in a bachelor program for Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Must have completed at least the first two years of your undergraduate program.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a strong focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- English language skills (spoken and written) are considered an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The position is based on-site in Saint-Georges or Sainte-Marie, Quebec.
- The internship is scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester, covering a period of approximately 16 weeks from September to December 2026.
