    About the role#

    The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Fall 2026 Economic Empowerment Intern in Atlanta. This internship supports programs that help individuals recover and rebuild their lives after conflict or disaster. This is an unpaid, full-time position.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with the implementation of economic empowerment programs.
    • Conduct research and analyze data related to program outcomes.
    • Support documentation and reporting efforts for the team.
    • Engage with community members and local stakeholders.
    • Participate in team meetings and share your ideas.

    What you'll need#

    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • An understanding of economic empowerment concepts.
    • Academic background in Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, International Relations, or Sociology.
