About the role#
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Fall 2026 Economic Empowerment Intern in Atlanta. This internship supports programs that help individuals recover and rebuild their lives after conflict or disaster. This is an unpaid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation of economic empowerment programs.
- Conduct research and analyze data related to program outcomes.
- Support documentation and reporting efforts for the team.
- Engage with community members and local stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings and share your ideas.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of economic empowerment concepts.
- Academic background in Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, International Relations, or Sociology.
