About the role#
You will join the Corporate Taxation department in Montreal. This team manages direct and indirect tax planning and compliance for the organization worldwide. You will report to the Corporate Tax Manager and work alongside a team based in both Montreal and Geneva. This role focuses on supporting tax compliance, maintaining tax systems, and assisting with internal advisory projects.
What you'll do#
- Support monthly GST and U.S. Sales Tax compliance filings and reports.
- Conduct annual campaigns to collect and maintain U.S. Sales Tax exemption certificates.
- Prepare and run SAP tax control reports.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for tax systems including SAP, Vertex, and various billing platforms.
- Manage global tax residency certificate applications and notary processes.
- Gather legislative information to support team planning and business advisory tasks.
- Provide tax documentation such as registration and clearance forms to internal and external partners.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Ability to support tax compliance and reporting activities.
- Interest in working with tax technology systems like SAP and Vertex.
- Strong attention to detail, specifically for verifying and updating master data in ERP systems.
