About the role#
Intelliguard is looking for an Engineering Intern to join our R&D team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a part-time, rolling opportunity requiring 8 to 10 hours per week. You will work directly with our engineering staff on projects that impact our products and services while gaining practical experience in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Conduct research and analysis to support ongoing engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and improvements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute your ideas.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Document engineering processes, findings, and project progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Some hands-on lab experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort using at least one of these languages: Python, MATLAB, or C.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly in writing and verbally.
- Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A genuine interest in innovation and technology.

- This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, Ohio.
