About the role#
As a System Software Engineering PhD Intern, you will work on the design, development, and validation of system software. This includes work across firmware, drivers, operating systems, and middleware layers. You will contribute to projects that support platform optimization and reference platform development for specific market segments.

- Design, develop, and validate system software across the full stack.
- Collaborate on cross-stack software optimization for various platforms.
- Contribute to reference platform development for targeted domains.
- Engage in hands-on projects to explore new methodologies in system software engineering.
- Build career-relevant skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program for Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
- At least 1 year of programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Project experience in areas such as Computational geometry, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Numerical optimization, or scientific computing.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher is preferred.
