    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing. You will work alongside engineers and operations teams to support production and gain technical expertise in process optimization, quality systems, and data analytics. This is a paid, full-time position for the Spring and Summer 2027 terms.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
    • Analyze data to improve yield, quality, reliability, and factory performance.
    • Work with advanced semiconductor equipment and fabrication technologies.
    • Apply statistics, data analytics, and failure analysis to solve engineering challenges.
    • Support process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
    • At least 3 months of experience from coursework, projects, research, internships, lab work, or student organizations.
    • Experience with programming, data analysis, modeling, simulation, automation, or visualization tools like Python, MATLAB, SQL, JMP, or R.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • Locations: Hillsboro, Oregon; Albuquerque, New Mexico; or Phoenix, Arizona.
    • Work Modality: This role requires an on-site presence.
    • Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for employment-based visa or immigration sponsorship.
