About the role#
Integra FEC is looking for a Data Scientist Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid role based in Austin, Texas. You will work as a data detective to solve complex problems, identifying and investigating fraud across sectors like finance, healthcare, and cryptocurrency.
What you'll do#
- Code software to automate internal processes.
- Scrape and collect large data sets.
- Perform advanced econometric analysis.
- Translate academic research into real-world applications.
- Identify and analyze fraudulent activity in various domains.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a PhD program.
- Academic background in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or Physics.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as R, SQL, or Python.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Highest ethical standards.
