About the role#
This co-op role focuses on the project management ecosystem within the Supplier Development Engineering department. You will work under the guidance of project management professionals to refine and publish project artifacts, such as schedules, dashboards, and report templates. The position involves improving business and planning workflows while supporting validation testing and capital projects.
What you'll do#
- Create and distribute project artifacts and training materials for the team.
- Manage timelines for supplier capital projects.
- Host weekly update meetings and document meeting minutes.
- Research and integrate project management software and frameworks.
- Automate tasks and standardize internal processes using skills like VBA.
- Lead or assist with Engineering Change Orders.
- Perform lab testing and support manufacturing line activities as needed.
- Travel to local suppliers for up to 5% of your time.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate mechanical, industrial, or biomedical engineering program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of accountability.
- Attention to detail and good documentation habits.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and a hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
