About the role#
Insulet is seeking a DevOps Engineer co-op to join our Software Research and Development organization. You will support the design, maintenance, and operation of CI/CD pipelines used to build, package, test, and deploy products. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will help automate repetitive processes and contribute to continuous improvement across development teams.
What you'll do#
- Monitor CI/CD pipeline runs, investigate basic failures, and escalate issues to senior team members.
- Maintain build and deployment documentation, including runbooks, setup steps, and troubleshooting notes.
- Assist with routine operational tasks such as access requests, environment checks, and release support.
- Perform tool configuration updates.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant engineering program.
- Foundational understanding of DevOps and configuration management concepts.
- Basic scripting experience and familiarity with functional or object-oriented programming.
- Exposure to source control using Git and repository tools like GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab, or Google Cloud Source Repositories.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or GitLab.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line usage.
- Exposure to Docker containers, software configuration management, and branching strategies.
- Clear communication skills, active listening, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027 - June 30, 2027).
- Location: Acton, Massachusetts (Hybrid).
- Employment: Full time, paid position.
