About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of tooling, fixturing, and ground support equipment for high-performance spacecraft. You will work on clean sheet designs and contribute to the development of spacecraft and test systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the creation of tooling and ground support equipment from the ground up.
- Work with an agile team focused on spacecraft and test system development.
- Support the implementation of new fixtures and hardware.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related degree program.
- Interest in spacecraft and test systems.
- Ability to work within an agile team environment.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Redondo Beach, California.
- The program runs for 12 weeks during the summer of 2027, typically from May or June through August or September.
