About the role#
As a Student Investment Performance Analyst, you will support activities related to investment performance evaluation. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to performance reporting and process improvements while working within a team focused on financial markets and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Prepare detailed investment performance reports for clients and portfolio managers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance evaluation processes and methodologies.
- Support analysts in implementing quality controls on critical data.
- Develop and automate performance reports using data visualization tools.
- Assist with cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing performance evaluation processes.
- Stay informed regarding industry needs and trends in data consumption.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and asset classes.
- High level of proactivity and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in English to interact with internal partners across Canada and simplify information.
- Experience with SQL and Python is considered an asset.
- Interest in obtaining professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CIPM is considered an asset.
