About the role#
As an Intern in Managed Accounts Supervision & Compliance, you will support the Managed Supervision and Tier 2 Compliance teams. This role focuses on daily administrative and operational tasks, ensuring that client portfolios and account records remain accurate and compliant with firm policies.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update client portfolios within the Portfolio System, including the creation and administration of accounts.
- Review portfolios to ensure alignment with Investment Policy Statements and internal firm policies.
- Monitor a shared team inbox, prioritize requests, and coordinate task delegation to meet service levels.
- Resolve outstanding issues in portfolio records, such as advisor changes, inactive accounts, and code updates.
- Assist with data compilation, reporting, and the maintenance of portfolio manager records.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or high school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, including advanced English proficiency for daily internal collaboration.
- High level of attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to exercise critical thinking to resolve account discrepancies.

- Compensation: $23.50 to $29.50 CAD per hour, depending on years of study and position status.
