About the role#
This internship provides experience in youth sports operations and marketing. You will work with the i9 Sports team to manage leagues, camps, and clinics for children ages 3 to 14. This is an unpaid, rolling internship that requires weekend availability.
What you'll do#
- Manage game day operations and the on-field customer experience.
- Set up and break down fields, courts, and event booths.
- Build relationships with players, parents, and volunteer coaches.
- Deliver the instructional aspects of the program and assist coaches during practices and games.
- Execute local marketing campaigns, including distributing fliers and placing road signs.
- Educate customers about program offerings and help grow the membership base.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college or university, specifically in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Access to a cell phone, email, and the web.
- A friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Sports experience is preferred but not required.
- All applicants are subject to a national criminal background check.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (must reside in the Salt Lake Metro area).
- Work Modality: Hybrid with flexible weekday hours and required weekend work.
- This is a full-time, unpaid internship.
