About the role#

This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2026 term based at the Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) in Irvine, California. You will work on-site as part of the Kia interior design team.

What you'll do#

Assist in creating interior design concepts.
Collaborate with engineers and designers on various projects.
Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions.
Conduct research on current design trends to support the team.

What you'll need#

Current enrollment or degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Architecture.
Strong design skills and familiarity with industry-standard design software.
Knowledge of interior design principles.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Location: Irvine, California, United States.
Term: Summer 2026.
Work Modality: On-site.
Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
