College Intern - Resort Operations

About the role#

Hyatt Vacation Ownership offers a comprehensive internship program designed to provide hands-on, on-site experience within a premier resort setting. This program focuses on professional development, leadership exposure, and operational immersion. Interns will work within a designated department, receive guidance from property leaders, and contribute to meaningful projects that support business innovation.

What you'll do#

• Gain in-person, on-site work experience within a designated resort department.
• Conduct two interviews with senior leaders to learn about their career journeys and leadership philosophies.
• Collaborate on a meaningful project that encourages creativity and contributes to business innovation.
• Lead and support activities such as trivia, pool games, outdoor fun, and educational programs.
• Engage in shadowing opportunities across different departments to broaden your understanding of resort operations.
• Participate in interactive sessions to gain strategic insights into the business.

What you'll need#

• Must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level.
• Preferred majors include Hospitality, Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Environmental Engineering, though all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and reaching overhead or below knee level.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 pounds (or 25 pounds for Housekeeping roles) without assistance.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the scope of the role.
