About the role#
This internship provides hands-on, on-site work experience within a designated department at a premier resort location. You will receive guidance from property leaders, participate in sessions with senior executives, and shadow different departments to broaden your understanding of resort operations. You will also collaborate on a project designed to encourage creativity and business innovation.
What you'll do#
- Gain direct experience in resort operations by working within a specific department.
- Conduct two interviews with senior leaders to learn about their career journeys and leadership philosophies.
- Lead and support guest activities, including trivia, pool games, outdoor fun, and educational programs.
- Collaborate with team members on a meaningful project that contributes to business innovation.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 pounds (or up to 25 pounds for housekeeping roles).
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program at any level.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- While students majoring in Hospitality or Business Management are preferred, applicants from other academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the scope of the role.
