Marketing Intern (Paid) - Mandarin Speaking

About the role#

HungryPanda Ltd is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist in driving brand awareness and user acquisition within the Chicago area. This role focuses on hands-on promotional activities, community engagement, and partnership development. We offer professional training and support for CPT/OPT status. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Assist the marketing team in planning and executing campaigns.
• Conduct in-person promotional activities in high-traffic areas, such as university campuses and residential communities.
• Introduce the app and promotional campaigns to potential users to support acquisition efforts.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with university clubs and student associations.
• Manage and engage with the WeChat community.
• Oversee on-ground promoters and collect campaign performance data.

What you'll need#

• Must be outgoing, proactive, and possess strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with the US Chinese community and local university networks.
• Must have legal work authorization (OPT/CPT supported).
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three months.
• Possession of a valid driver license and a personal vehicle.
• Majors in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology, or Psychology are preferred.
