Marketing Intern (Paid) - Mandarin Speaking

About the role#

HungryPanda Ltd is seeking a Marketing Intern to join the team in Berkeley, CA. This is a paid, part-time position focused on brand awareness and user acquisition within the local Chinese community. The role is on-site and requires a proactive approach to field marketing and community engagement.

What you'll do#

• Assist the marketing team in planning and executing promotional campaigns.
• Conduct in-person promotional activities in high-traffic areas, including university campuses, residential communities, and local events.
• Introduce the app and promotional campaigns to potential users to drive user acquisition.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with university clubs and student associations.
• Manage and engage with WeChat communities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Collect and organize campaign performance data and assist in managing on-ground promotional efforts.

What you'll need#

• Outgoing and proactive personality with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with the US Chinese community and university networks.
• Legal work authorization in the United States (OPT/CPT sponsorship supported).
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in Xiaohongshu (RED) operations is considered a plus.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sociology, or a related field.

• Compensation: $19.61 per hour.
• Term: Rolling, with a minimum commitment of three months.
