Marketing Intern (Paid) - Mandarin Speaking

About the role#

HungryPanda Ltd is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist with brand awareness and user acquisition in the Irvine area. This role focuses on engaging the local Chinese community through on-site promotional activities and digital community management. This is a paid, part-time internship that offers OPT/CPT sponsorship support.

What you'll do#

• Assist the marketing team in planning and executing promotional campaigns.
• Conduct in-person promotional activities at university campuses, residential communities, and local events.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with university clubs and student associations.
• Manage and engage with the WeChat community to improve customer satisfaction.
• Collect and analyze campaign performance data to support marketing efforts.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
• Outgoing and proactive personality with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with the US Chinese community and local university networks.
• Experience in Xiaohongshu (RED) operations.
• A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Legal work authorization (OPT/CPT sponsorship is available).
