Marketing Intern - Mandarin Speaking

About the role#

HungryPanda Ltd is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our local market development and brand presence in San Diego. This is a paid, on-site internship for Summer 2026, requiring a commitment of 20 hours per week for three months, starting between August and October. Applicants must possess valid work authorization, including OPT or CPT eligibility.

What you'll do#

• Assist the marketing team in developing and maintaining relationships with local clients.
• Shape and promote the company brand image.
• Manage the end-to-end operations of WeChat communities, including user acquisition, engagement, content creation, and maintenance.
• Participate in offline marketing events and assist with promotional materials.
• Monitor industry trends and coordinate community operations, including managing outreach and content placement for platforms like Xiaohongshu.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
• Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Ability to execute tasks effectively and a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
• Previous experience in market operations is preferred.
• Access to a vehicle is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required for this role.
