About the role#
Huitt-Zollars is offering internship and co-op opportunities for 2027. These are temporary, full-time, paid positions for students currently enrolled in accredited universities. Interns will gain experience across various stages of project development within our architecture offices.
What you'll do#
- Work on at least 2-3 projects at different stages of development.
- Prepare project designs and construction documents using BIM software.
- Research building codes, materials, and assemblies for incorporation into drawings.
- Integrate information from consultants and suppliers into Revit models.
- Process contractor submittals and RFIs by logging documents and routing them for review.
- Prepare graphic materials for presentations and assist with project correspondence and meeting minutes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university.
- Majors in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Urban Planning.
- Proficiency in Revit and experience with BIM software.
- Ability to research building codes and materials.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Locations: Texas, California, New Mexico, and Florida.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (with additional spring, winter, and fall opportunities available).
- Schedule: Full-time, with hours typically falling between Monday and Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
