About the role#
The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on exposure to core accounting operations by assisting with reconciliation, verification of financial records, and general bookkeeping. This role supports the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial statements, the general ledger, and related reports while ensuring strict confidentiality.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile incoming and outgoing transactions to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Deposit an average of 50 payroll checks daily.
- Organize files, including receipts and other incoming documentation.
- Record deposits and transactions using QuickBooks and other reporting software.
- Assist with external audits as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited degree program.
- Pursuing a major in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Current U.S. work authorization.
- No prior professional experience is required.
