About the role#
We are looking for a Construction Management Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of construction management, including field management, project management, preconstruction services, virtual design, and safety. You will work approximately 40 hours per week in a full-time capacity.
What you'll do#
- Manage project finances, subcontracts, and change order requests.
- Visit job sites to create and audit safety procedures.
- Learn to lead on-site activities to ensure projects finish on time and within budget.
- Assist with bid packages, evaluate subcontractor bids, and perform material takeoffs.
- Create, edit, and run clash detection on three-dimensional BIM models.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or a related construction management discipline.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings and evenings.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
