About the role#
As a structural engineering intern, you will work under supervision to complete basic design tasks. You will apply standard techniques and procedures to your assigned work while contributing to the team's project goals. This role is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete elementary structural engineering assignments based on designs from others.
- Develop, modify, or review project drawings.
- Organize and maintain documentation for specific projects.
- Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a commitment to internal and external client service.
- Practice sustainable work habits to support a green workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a civil engineering, structural engineering, or related degree program.
- Preference is given to candidates with a previous internship at an engineering or architectural design firm.
