About the role#
Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is hiring for a Summer Engineering Sales Intern for the 2027 season. This role focuses on the intersection of technical knowledge, business management, and interpersonal communication. As an intern, you will work on-site to help drive equipment sales and support our team of sales engineers. What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge and sales strategies to maximize equipment sales.
- Build and maintain relationships with both new and established customers.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet sales goals.
- Propose changes to equipment or processes that help clients reduce capital expenditures.
- Educate clients on product specifications, pricing, and overall offerings.
- Expand your knowledge of industry trends, finance, and competitive landscapes.
- Adhere to the core values of the company in all professional interactions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or completion of a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or construction management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking abilities to streamline processes and maximize solution efficiency.
- A self-motivated and competitive mindset with a desire to produce high-quality results.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
- Prior co-op or internship experience and participation in extracurricular activities are preferred.
