About the role#
Hill College is hiring a Student Worker for the Esports department. You will report to the Coordinator of Esports and work closely with the IT team to support daily operations. This role involves mentoring students and helping with technical projects in the Esports arena.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations of the Esports program.
- Manage and assist with live broadcasts and streaming of matches.
- Mentor students within the Esports arena.
- Help the IT department with various projects.
- Contribute to event support and student engagement.
What you'll need#
- You must be enrolled as a full-time student at Hill College.
- You need to maintain a GPA above 2.0.
- Previous experience with Esports is required.
- You should have basic knowledge of streaming software.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills are necessary.
- The ability to work evenings and event days is required.
Location & details#
- Location: Hillsboro, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay: $12 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible hours, including evenings.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and sit at a computer for extended periods.
