About the role#
Hill College is hiring a Student Worker to support the Esports department. You will work with staff and students to keep daily operations running smoothly. This role involves maintaining a welcoming environment in the Esports arena and helping with various IT projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage and support daily Esports operations.
- Assist with broadcasting and live streaming matches.
- Mentor students within the Esports arena.
- Help the IT department with ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with staff to coordinate events and improve broadcasting workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at Hill College.
- A GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Prior experience with Esports.
- Basic knowledge of streaming software.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work evenings or event days as needed.
Location & details#
- Location: Hillsboro, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $12 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, with flexibility required for evenings and events.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and sit at a computer for extended periods.
