About the role#
Modern Sales Co-op is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join the team in Winnipeg. This is a full-time, on-site role with a rolling start date. You will work under the supervision of the Distribution Manager to help move inventory safely and efficiently within the distribution center.
What you'll do#
- Unload and move products using material handling equipment.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or manual systems.
- Prepare and document shipments using internal software.
- Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Assist the Distribution Manager with receiving paperwork.
- Load and unload trucks and stock shelves.
- Perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 75lb.
- Physical ability to bend, crouch, climb stairs, and use ladders safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Experience with computer data entry and typing.
- Proficiency with shipping software, databases, and Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
- Experience with Dangerous Goods and WHMIS.
