About the role#
Heritage Valley Health System is hiring a Dietary Associate to support our Nutrition Services department. This position is open to current high school students who are at least 16 years old. You will work in a team environment alongside production and patient services staff. This is an on-site, paid, full-time role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
You will assist with the daily operations of the nutrition department. Your tasks include:
- Assembling patient meals and working at all tray line stations.
- Operating in the dish room and performing pot washing duties.
- Transporting patient carts throughout the facility.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in high school and at least 16 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and customer service experience.
- Previous food service experience or a high school diploma are preferred but not required.
- You must complete Acts 73 or 169 clearances within 90 days of starting if applicable.
Location & details#
This role is located in Beaver, Pennsylvania. The schedule includes casual, varying day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
