About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Delaware, Ohio. You will work on-site at a manufacturing facility to gain hands-on experience in safety, health, and environmental practices. The position runs from May 24th to August 13th.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world safety and environmental practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Conduct SHE walkarounds to identify and report unsafe conditions or behaviors.
- Perform risk assessments and equipment safety reviews to support hazard mitigation.
- Assist with sustainability data collection, analysis, and project support.
- Lead a safety-focused internship project involving data analysis and actionable improvement recommendations.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior graduating in 2028 or a rising sophomore graduating in 2029.
- You are pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Administration, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Chemical Engineering, or comparable studies.
- Demonstrated experience in the SHE field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, active learning mindset.
Location & details#
- Location: Delaware, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer a housing stipend or relocation support.
