About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Darien, Connecticut. You will work on-site to assist the Consumer Brands unit in developing hair care products. The program runs from May 24th to August 13th.
What you'll do#
- Work with scientists to create and refine hair care formulas.
- Prepare batches of formulas for evaluation.
- Learn how specific ingredients function within a product.
- Monitor the stability of lab-prepared formulas to ensure quality.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to submit formulas for testing.
- Participate in salon-based performance testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student graduating in 2028 or 2029, or as a master's or graduate student.
- A degree path in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and stay organized.
- Attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset for working within a team.

- Compensation: $22-$27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support.
