    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to support the Adhesive Technologies business unit in Bridgewater, New Jersey. You will work on packaging adhesive projects during the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, and paid position.

    What you'll do#

    • Help develop sustainable and new adhesive products for customer needs.
    • Support the optimization and streamlining of the current product portfolio.
    • Assess new raw materials, technologies, and capabilities for packaging adhesive applications.
    • Design and run laboratory experiments to test how products perform.
    • Create and improve test procedures to help with product selection and application effectiveness.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to turn technical findings into product improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028, or as a master’s or graduate student.
    • Academic background in Chemical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or Polymer Science.
    • Strong laboratory skills, including precision in data collection and experimental setup.
    • Ability to manage and execute project plans while meeting deadlines.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience collaborating with diverse teams.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey.
    • Duration: May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
    • Pay: $22 to $27 per hour.
    • Benefits: This role is eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
