About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within the Adhesive Technologies business unit. You will gain hands-on experience in the development of adhesives and sealants while working with raw materials in a laboratory setting. This is a paid, full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the formulation and preparation of product batches in the lab.
- Learn and apply standardized methods to test product performance and quality.
- Analyze test results to identify trends and potential improvements.
- Collaborate with senior technologists to discuss findings and contribute to product innovation.
- Participate in the development of new products through experimentation and research.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A proactive and supportive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and organize lab work with guidance.

- Location: Mentor, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027, from May 24th to August 13th.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $22-$27 per hour.
- Housing stipend or relocation support is available.
