About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Industrial Design internship based in Trumbull, Connecticut. You will work with the Industrial Design team to create packaging and product solutions for our consumer brands. The internship runs from May 24, 2027, through mid-December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop 2D and 3D concepts using sketching and CAD modeling.
- Create and evaluate 3D models, renderings, and rapid prototypes.
- Research and design new structural packaging concepts.
- Work with regional and global teams across Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Formulation, and Consumer Insights.
- Join brainstorming and problem-solving sessions with innovation teams.
- Support consumer research projects using our in-house focus group facilities.
- Prepare and present design strategies and project outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student (sophomore, junior, or senior) pursuing a degree in Industrial Design.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Interest or experience in rapid prototyping and working in a model shop.
- Microsoft PowerPoint skills are a plus.
