About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within the Adhesive Technologies business unit. You will join a team focused on developing adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings for industries such as aerospace, medical, and heavy equipment.
What you'll do#
- Design, prepare, and test new adhesive formulations.
- Assist with the maintenance and improvement of current commercial products.
- Work alongside experienced chemists in an R&D setting.
- Manage and update laboratory inventory and materials.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that focus on product performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student graduating in 2028, 2029, or 2030, or as a graduate student.
- A degree path in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Prior experience or skills working in a chemical laboratory.
- A willingness to perform hands-on experimental work.
- Interest in learning about polymers, chemistry, and materials science.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Location: Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 13).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time.
