About the role#
Henkel is hiring a Capital Project Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Memphis, Tennessee. The role runs from May 24th to August 13th.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience in the design and execution phases of large capital projects.
- Participate in the specification, procurement, and installation of equipment.
- Communicate with suppliers to quote and purchase new equipment.
- Join detailed risk assessments and design meetings to support project planning and safety.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities at the plant site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- You are pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You have the ability to read and modify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- You have experience conducting risk assessments through coursework or previous internships.
- You have familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
