About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with the Innovation Portfolio Management team at Henkel. You will support projects focused on automotive adhesives, sealants, and coatings while learning about the company's product portfolio and E-Mobility applications. This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams and business strategy through shadowing a Project Manager.
What you'll do#
- Support innovation projects for automotive adhesives, sealants, and coatings.
- Perform data analysis and competitive research on current products and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Innovation Portfolio Management team on strategic projects.
- Develop project management skills by driving specific activities forward.
- Balance project timing, cost, and quality requirements.
- Gain insight into business decisions and cross-functional operations.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Analytics.
- Interest in the automotive market.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to contribute new ideas and bring people together.
- Ability to commute to the Madison Heights office at least 2 days per week.

- Location: Madison Heights, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 13).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer a housing stipend or relocation support.
