About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Adhesive Technologies business unit. You will work on projects related to Loctite and Aquence brands, focusing on applications like tapes, labels, paper, and e-commerce. The role offers exposure to both research and development and customer-facing functions.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate adhesives and coatings for commercialization and end-use testing.
- Develop and optimize test methods to support product recommendations.
- Plan and execute technical projects alongside a supervisor.
- Provide regular progress updates to your team and management.
- Participate in R&D and customer-facing activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or senior graduating in 2027 or 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques for polymer synthesis and characterization.
- Previous experience in an academic lab or an industrial internship is preferred.

- Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 13).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $22 to $27 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer a housing stipend or relocation support.
